THE CQC'S NEW FRAMEWORK | Interpreting employee wellbeing and management statements

Good Governance Training

This workshop can be delivered remotely in a half day via teams or in person at your service

This workshop will give you the key to successfully leading your service ensuring effective and responsive Governance processes and sustainability mechanisms.  The underpinning regulation (Regulation 17) will be explored to support understanding of the underlying principles of governance. Good governance forms part of the wider domain of Well-Led and we will look at how good governance principles can be woven into the care service. To meet this regulation; providers must have effective governance, including assurance and auditing systems or processes. These must assess, monitor and drive improvement in the quality and safety of the services provided, including the quality of the experience for people using the service. The systems and processes must also assess, monitor and mitigate any risks relating the health, safety and welfare of people using services and others. Robust documentation must be a consistent feature within the service, we will explore what good documentation looks like and how record keeping processes can help support the service. We will talk about governance meetings and what needs to be covered in the these meetings. Providers must continually evaluate and seek to improve their governance and auditing practice. There will be availability on the day to speak with C4Q experts.
